Tripoli: The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, confirmed the council’s support for the fruitful efforts of civil society that are concerned with the interests of citizens and the nation and contribute to the success of initiatives of national reconciliation.
This came during his meeting with a number of members of the “Al-Qalaa” organization at the Council’s headquarters yesterday, where they discussed the organization’s efforts on behalf of the veterans category. The organization’s delegation conveyed ‘to Takala’ the demands of this group regarding the compensation owed to this segment, in gratitude for the valuable efforts it has provided for the sake of the nation.
Takala stressed the need to unify the efforts of institutions demanding the rights of veterans, which enables it to present a unified proposed project that addresses the needs and demands of this segment of society and identifies the difficulties it faces.
