Tripoli: Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, discussed with German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohnmacht, the plan of the UN Envoy, Abodulaye Bathily, to resolve the Libyan crisis. During a meeting held yesterday at the council's headquarters in Tripoli, Takala affirmed the interest of the HCS in supporting bilateral relations between Libya and Germany and joint cooperation between the two countries, according to the communication office of the council. For his part, Ohnmacht expressed his country's support for a democratic track in Libya and achieving a national consensus that establishes a real foundation for inclusive reconciliation through peaceful dialogue and the success of the electoral process in accordance with what the Libyan people aspire to.
