The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the arrest of (8) persons accused of manipulating exchange rates in Baghdad.
The Directorate stated in a statement: "The detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate, affiliated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the Ministry of Defense, arrested (8) persons accused of manipulating the exchange rate, for violating the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq, in Al-Kifah area in Baghdad."
It added: "The necessary measures have been taken against them and referred them to the competent authorities."
