The President of the Republic arrives in Erbil

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, arrived in Erbil this afternoon, Saturday. The Director General of Relations in the Presidency, Hawri Tawfiq, made a statement to the Kurdish media network Rudaw earlier today in which he said: 'President Rashid will meet during the visit with the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, and the Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani. He added that a conference will be held over two days, Saturday and Sunday, on drought and the impact of climate change on the politics, economy, and demography of Iraq, at the University of Kurdistan and the Rotana Hotel.
