At least six migrants died today after their boat sank off the coast of Morocco, according to the official Maghreb Arab News Agency.
The Agency said: "The boat collided with rocks, which led to the drowning of six people," noting that 48 survived the accident, while the authorities launched search operations.
It is noteworthy that the migrants seek, risking their lives, to cross the Atlantic Ocean to reach the countries of the European Union from several points, including off the coast of Morocco to the Spanish Canary Islands.
