Moscow, Russia announced Sunday that its air defenses have shot down 20 Ukrainian drones over various areas, including the capital Moscow.
In a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was reported that its forces thwarted a new Ukrainian attack Sunday using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAVs) that targeted Russian territory. They managed to shoot down 9 UAVs over four western provinces of the country.
"A massive drone attack was attempted tonight. The air defense forces shot down UAVs in the area of Naro-Fominsk and Odintsovo city district, en route to Moscow," Another drone was shot down near Podolsk, Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.
