QSE Index Closes 0.25 Percent Higher

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed at 9,408.52 points on Monday, 23.07 points (0.25 percent) up from its previous closing. A trading volume of 136,363,009 shares was registered in 15,394 transactions in all sectors, with a total trading value of QR 429,283,435.976. The prices of 17 companies rose and those of 31 declined, while three company maintained its previous closing price. The market capitalization closed at QR 546,222,849,735.730 compared to QR 545,334,179,155 in the previous session. Source: Qatar News Agency
