Qatar SC will face Al Arabi in the final match of HH the Amir Table Tennis Cup championship for 2022-2023 season at the Preparation and Training Center Hall in Ras Abu Abboud on Wednesday.
Qatar SC seeks to continue its series of positive results in the tournament and to be crowned for the sixth time in a row and the seventh in its history, after winning the title in the seasons 2001-2002, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022.
Al Arabi aspires to win the title after an absence of nearly 10 years, as it won the last title of HH the Amir Cup in the 2013-2014 season, after defeating Al Sadd in the final match and also to win the title for the sixth time in its history, after the seasons 1998-1999, 2005-2006, 2008-2009, 2010-2011, and 2013-2014.
Nine clubs participated in the championship, and they were divided into two groups, Al Sadd, Al Khor, Al Rayyan and Al Wakra in the first group while Qatar SC, Al Arabi, Al Shamal, Al Gharafa and Al Ahli were in the second. (QNA)
