Nouakchott, - HE Minister of State and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Charity opened the new premises of the Qatar Charity office in Mauritania.
The opening was attended by Acting Charge d'Affairs of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Mauritania Fahad Salem Al Dosari and General Supervisor of the Qatar Charity office in MauritaniaTurki Muhammad Al Subaie.
After the opening, HE Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Charity Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani held a working session with the office employees, during which the office work plan for 2024-2025 and the prospects for Qatar Charity's humanitarian work in Mauritania were reviewed, and available opportunities were discussed.
HE the Minister of State and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Charity also visited some civil society associations, where he visited the headquarters of the Ethar Charity Association for Cancer Patients in Mauritania, during which he was briefed on the activities of the associations, including the construction progress of the Ethar Health Hospital affiliated with the Ethar Association and listened to explanations provided by those in charge of the association before listening to their requests, which represented cooperation in building, equipping, and operating the Ethar Health Hospital, which specializes in treating cancerous diseases in Mauritania and other matters related to the work of the hospital.
