Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babis. During the call, they discussed developments related to the military escalation in the region and its serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability, as well as ways to resolve all disputes through peaceful means.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Iranian attack on Qatari territory constitutes a violation of its national sovereignty and is inconsistent with the principles of good neighborliness. He noted Qatar's efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the international community, but expressed concern over the renewed targeting of its territory.
HE the Prime Minister called for an immediate halt to escalatory actions, a return to negotiations, and the prioritization of reason and wisdom to contain the crisis and preserve regional security.
