Doha: The Board of Directors of the Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund held its regular meeting on Tuesday, chaired by HE Minister of Labor and Chairman of the Fund’s Board Dr Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri. The meeting addressed several key items on its agenda and adopted a series of decisions and recommendations aimed at further enhancing the Fund’s performance and effectiveness, thereby contributing to the ongoing improvement of the national work environment.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund was established under Law No. 17 of 2018. The Fund’s purpose is to provide support, insurance, and care for workers. The latest meeting underlines the ongoing commitment to improving conditions and protections for workers, reflecting the Fund’s foundational goals.
