Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Wednesday received a phone call from HE President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto. During the call, HE the Indonesian President affirmed his country’s solidarity with the State of Qatar and its strong condemnation of the cowardly Israeli attack that targeted the residences of several Hamas leaders. He described the assault as a flagrant violation of international laws and norms and a serious threat to the security of Qatar and the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency also emphasized his categorical rejection of any aggression that endangers Qatar’s security and safety or undermines regional peace and stability. For his part, HH the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and safeguard its sovereignty in response to the blatant Israeli attack. His Highness expressed gratitude to HE the Indonesian President for his sincere fraternal sentiments and Indonesia’s valued solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people.
