Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman. During the conversation, HM the Sultan expressed Oman’s solidarity with Qatar and condemned the Israeli attack targeting the residences of several Hamas leaders. He described the attack as a criminal act and a violation of international laws, posing a threat to Qatar and regional security.
According to Qatar News Agency, HM the Sultan reaffirmed Oman’s rejection of any aggression threatening Qatar’s security and stability. He emphasized Oman’s support for Qatar’s measures to protect its sovereignty. In response, HH the Amir assured that Qatar would take necessary actions to safeguard its security. He also expressed gratitude to HM the Sultan for Oman’s solidarity and support.
