Baghdad – Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, received at the Command headquarters, on Thursday, Lieutenant General Sami Sampson, Senior Advisor to the British Ministry of Defense for Middle East and North Africa Affairs.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Mohammadawi welcomed his guest and praised the efforts being made within the framework of developing the combat capabilities of the Iraqi forces and their field preparations in the security challenges to confront terrorism, and stressed the necessity of raising the readiness of the security forces, empowering them at various levels, and reducing dependence on the Coalition forces.
The two parties stressed the importance of developing the technical and technological capabilities of some types of security and intelligence forces.
