Doha: The Meteorology Department warned in its daily weather report of strong wind and low horizontal visibility at places inshore, whilst offshore will have strong wind and high sea.
According to Qatar News Agency, the report also indicated that inshore weather until 6:00 p.m. today will be foggy in the south initially, with relatively cold daytime conditions and slight dust to blowing dust at certain locations. At sea, conditions will include some clouds and slight dust at times.
The wind inshore is expected to be northwesterly at 13-23 KT, with gusts reaching up to 33 KT at certain places during the daytime. Offshore, the winds will also be northwesterly at 15-25 KT, gusting up to 35 KT at places.
The sea state inshore is projected to be between 3-5 feet, while offshore conditions will range from 4-8 feet, rising to 11 feet at specific locations. Visibility inshore is forecasted to be between 4-9 km, dropping to as low as 2 km at some places initially, whereas offshore visibility will remain between 4-9 km.
