China launched a Long March-3B carrier rocket, on Thursday, to place a new satellite, into space. The carrier rocket blasted off at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, southwest China, sending the Smart Skynet-1 01 satellite into the preset orbit.
