Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued today, Wednesday, a joint statement, following the latter's visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The two sides stressed, according to the Saudi Press Agency, "the importance of the stability of energy markets, as well as the importance of Iran's commitment to the peacefulness of its nuclear program and cooperation with the IAEA."
They also stressed "the importance of the commitment of the two parties to the conflict in Sudan to the ceasefire and building on the Jeddah Declaration, and the importance of taking necessary measures to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people."
The joint statement referred to "full support for international and regional efforts to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis." The statement also condemned "the Israeli aggressions and provocations in the occupied Palestinian territories."
He also stressed "the importance of ending the war in Ukraine through negotiations based on international law," pointing to "the importance of the Black Sea initiative to enhance food security and ensure price stability and supply chains."
