The Special Representative of the Secretary-General to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, discussed yesterday with Khalifa Haftar, support for a secure environment that will enable holding peaceful and secure elections in 2023.
This came during their meeting yesterday in Benghazi, during which they reviewed the recent political and security developments, including the upcoming Security Working Group meeting, according to a tweet by the UNSMIL.
