Baghdad, The prices of Basra Heavy and Medium crude oil declined on Tuesday, despite the rise in oil prices in global markets. The prices of Basra Heavy crude declined by $1.53 to reach $81.80, and the prices of Basra Medium crude declined by $1.53 to reach $84.75. Global oil prices rose amid expectations of reduced supplies in light of a possible disruption to production in Canada due to forest fires, as well as strong demand and voluntary reductions in production.
