At least eight people were injured, including a child, as a result of a Ukrainian missile strike that targeted Belgorod District, southwestern Russia, on Thursday. The shelling caused damage to residential buildings and cars, Belgorod's Governor said. Ukrainian forces continue to target Russian regions on an almost daily basis with drones, and attempt to carry out acts of sabotage. Russia began a special military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and it does not appear that it is close to ending it, in light of Moscows assertion that its special operation will continue until its full goals are achieved.
