A 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted Baicheng County in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Wednesday evening, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). The epicenter was monitored at 41.98 degrees north latitude and 82.56 degrees east longitude with a depth of 16 km, said a report issued by the CENC. The last earthquake in China was on March 5 measuring 5.5 magnitude on the Richter scale which jolted Zadoi County in northwest China's Qinghai Province. Source: Qatar News Agency
