Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denied the claim that his country's forces carried out a drone attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod Region.
According to Qatar News Agency, Zelenskyy stated in his post on X that Russia is using these statements to undermine the progress achieved in negotiations to end the war. He added that these statements are "intended to justify additional attacks against Ukraine, including Kyiv, as well as Russia's own refusal to take necessary steps to end the war."
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine does not engage in actions that could undermine diplomatic efforts. He pointed out that it is Russia that consistently takes such actions, which are detrimental to peace efforts.
The Ukrainian President further remarked on the importance of the international community's response, stating, "It is critical that the world doesn't stay silent now. We cannot allow Russia to undermine the work on achieving a lasting peace."
