Turkish President and Spanish Prime Minister Discuss Gaza Developments and Call for Humanitarian Aid

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in a phone conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, focusing on bilateral relations and pressing regional and international issues, with a particular emphasis on the situation in the Gaza Strip. The discussion highlighted the urgent need to halt Israeli aggression and facilitate the continuous flow of humanitarian aid to the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, President Erdogan underscored the necessity of stopping Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from actions that could jeopardize peace in the region. Erdogan expressed concerns that the actions of the Israeli occupation government have made clear its reluctance to pursue a peaceful resolution.

During the conversation, Erdogan pointed out that the recent session of the UN General Assembly marked significant steps toward advancing the two-state solution. He affirmed Trkiye’s commitment to continuing efforts to protect Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
