Kyiv: Ukrainian authorities announced Thursday that three people were killed and 25 others injured in a Russian attack targeting northern, eastern, and southern Ukraine.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported that Russian forces targeted the town of Balakliia in the eastern Kharkiv region with a drone, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. Additionally, six others were injured in the Mykolaiv region.
In Sumy, a Russian guided-bomb attack resulted in injuries to 13 people, while a separate Russian drone attack in the Kherson region injured six others.
The Russia-Ukraine war continues to witness an escalation in reciprocal attacks. Kyiv has intensified its long-range strikes on targets inside Russian territory in recent months, while Moscow persists in launching missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities, with Kyiv, the capital, being a primary target.
