The Minister of Foreign Affairs receives a copy of the credentials of the Armenian Ambassador to Iraq

Baghdad - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, received today, Wednesday, a copy of the credentials of the new Armenian Ambassador to Iraq, Misak Balasanyan.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to improve them to serve the interests of the two friendly countries.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Minister stressed during the meeting Iraq’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with Armenia in various fields, wishing the Ambassador success in his work tasks, and expressing the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all support for the success of the mission in Baghdad.

For his part, the Ambassador of Armenia expressed his country's aspiration to strengthen relations with Iraq in various fields in a way that strengthens common ties.
