The Foreign Minister discuss with British Telecom the development of the infrastructure of communications networks in Iraq

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, discussed today, Tuesday, with representatives of the British Telecom Company and representatives of the British Ministry of Business and Trade in London, the development of the infrastructure of communications networks in Iraq.

The Minister stressed the importance of communication among ministries and encouraging private companies, such as British Telecom, to establish a presence in Iraq, allowing them to provide critical support effectively.

The two sides expressed their commitment to continuous cooperation and joint cooperation, with a focus on developing innovative solutions and exchanging technical expertise, and stressed the importance of this partnership to promote progress and create a connected digital society and a prosperous economy in Iraq.

For their part, the representatives of British Telecom expressed their gratitude for the opportunity given to them to present their proposals in order to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of communications and information technology.
