Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli occupation authorities' approval of the construction of 19 settlements in the occupied West Bank, in violation of relevant UN resolutions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry stated that the Kingdom reiterates its call to the international community to assume its responsibility to put an end to these violations. The ministry affirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and its continued efforts aimed at establishing an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international resolutions.
