Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call from his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian.
During the call, a number of common issues were discussed in light of the tripartite agreement that was signed in China. The two ministers also agreed to hold a bilateral meeting during the current month of Ramadan.
On March 10, Saudi Arabia and Iran announced that they had reached an agreement to resume diplomatic relations and reopen their respective embassies and missions within two months, in a move that was widely welcomed by the Arab and international community. (QNA)
