Saudi arabia: The Saudi Cabinet has expressed its appreciation for the mediation efforts spearheaded by Pakistan and the State of Qatar, which have been instrumental in facilitating an agreement between the United States and Iran. According to Qatar News Agency, during its weekly session, chaired by His Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Cabinet reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's stance on the necessity of restoring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz to its pre-February 28 conditions. This move is seen as critical in ensuring the stability of one of the world's most vital maritime passages.
Furthermore, the Cabinet expressed its anticipation for the achievement of peace that would enhance both regional and global security. Saudi Arabia emphasized the importance of considering the security interests of regional countries and respecting their internal matters, underscoring its commitment to fostering peace and stability in the region.
