An official source in the Saudi Ministry of Energy announced that the Kingdom will extend the voluntary cut in oil production of one million barrels per day, which began to be applied in the current month of July, for another month, to include the month of August with the possibility of extending it, and thus the Kingdom’s production in August has close to 9 million barrels per day.
The source explained: "This additional voluntary reduction comes to reinforce the precautionary efforts made by the (OPEC +) countries with the aim of supporting the stability and balance of oil markets, according to what was reported by the Saudi Press Agency, "SPA."
