Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index started trading Monday with a decline of 0.17%, losing 19.02 points to reach the level of 11,148 points, under pressure from four sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Real Estate sector showed a positive performance, rising by 0.28%. The Consumer Goods and Services sector saw an increase of 0.11%, while the Industrial sector experienced a slight rise of 0.05%.
Conversely, other sectors faced a downturn. The Telecoms sector decreased by 0.03%, Transportation and Insurance sectors both fell by 0.05%, and the Banks and Financial Services sector saw a decline of 0.38%.
As of 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 3,765 transactions with a trading value of QR 69.045 million, involving 41.465 million shares.
