QFA Engages in Key Discussions at 15th WAFF Ordinary General Assembly in Jordan

Amman: Qatar Football Association (QFA) engaged in the 15th Ordinary General Assembly of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF), held Saturday in Amman, Jordan. Representing the QFA at the assembly was Secretary-General Mansour Al Ansari, where extensive discussions were held on key organizational and administrative issues, and the minutes of the previous Ordinary General Assembly, held in May 2024, were ratified.

According to Qatar News Agency, WAFF Secretary-General Khalil Al Salem reviewed reports pertaining to the past period, in addition to endorsing the reports of the committees and bodies. The agenda included appointing two members to audit the minutes, designating two observers to count the votes, and assigning external auditors. Additionally, the Secretary-General’s report for the previous period was ratified.

In a demonstration of WAFF’s organized and thorough administrative oversight, reports of the committees and bodies, the financial statements for 2024, the auditors’ report, and the budget for 2025 were all approved. Also discussed were the suggestions submitted by the member associations, aiming to reinforce cooperation and enhance the associations’ activities throughout the upcoming phase.
