Qatari Swimmer Ali Tamer Wins Silver Medal at Asian Aquatics Championships in India

According to Qatar News Agency, Ali Tamer completed the race in 49.46 seconds, trailing behind China’s Wang, who clinched the gold medal with a time of 49.19 seconds. India’s Natraj earned the bronze medal, finishing in 49.96 seconds.

Earlier in the competition, Ali Tamer had claimed the gold medal in the 50m freestyle event. His teammate, Mohammed Mahmoud, also contributed to the team’s success by winning the bronze medal in the 50m breaststroke.

The Qatari swimming team, competing in the championship, consists of four athletes: Ali Tamer, Mohammed Mahmoud, Hamza Shalaan, and Abdullah Al Ghamri. The Asian Aquatics Championships, which has attracted participants from 25 countries, includes swimming, diving, water polo, and artistic swimming events.
