On this occasion, HH the Amir will deliver a speech on key aspects of the State’s domestic and foreign policies, as well as Qatar’s stance on various regional and international issues.
The newspapers noted that the inauguration of the Shura Council’s ordinary session marks a new chapter in the State of Qatar’s journey toward enhancing participation in decision-making, in line with His Highness’s directives to bolster the foundations of a modern state based on security, stability, and the rule of law. In this context, they referred to the phone conversation held yesterday between HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Lebanon Nabih Berri. The conversation focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and ways for de-escalation.
