Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 42.51 points at the beginning of Wednesday's trading, a growth of 0.41% to rise to 1035 points, compared to the end of Tuesday's trading, with the support of five sectors led by the real estate sector.
Qatar Stock Exchange attributed the positive performance of the general index to the rise in the real estate sector by 1.04%, the insurance sector by 0.64%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.48%, the bank and financial services sector by 0.39% and the industrial sector by 0.25%. On the other hand, the telecommunications sector fell by 0.14% and the transport sector by 0.25%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR110.527 million, distributed among 43.949 million shares, with the implementation of 3555 transactions.
