The State of Qatar is participating in the 90th General Session of World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), with a delegation headed by HE Minister of Municipality Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie.
Representatives of 182 member countries and international organisations are taking part in the event, being held from May 21 to 25.
WOAH is an intergovernmental organisation, that focuses on transparently disseminating information on animal diseases, improving animal health globally and thus build a safer, healthier and more sustainable world.
Relatedly HE Minister of Municipality Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie met with WOAH Director General Dr Monique Eloit and discussed aspects of cooperation between the State pf Qatar and the organisation.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to France Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani attended the meeting. (QNA)
