Qatar News Agency Introduces ‘The Multimedia Journalist’ Training Course

Doha: Qatar News Agency (QNA) launched on Sunday a training course titled 'The Multimedia Journalist' as part of the 2026 training plan of the QNA Training Center. The course is designed to equip journalists with the skills necessary to create integrated media content suitable for various media platforms.

According to Qatar News Agency, the course, presented by Mazen Al Nuaimi, a media professional at QNA, focuses on developing professional skills for the fast-paced digital media environment. It aims to help journalists adapt to ongoing transformations in content production over a span of three days.

The curriculum covers comprehensive journalism, including its professional foundations and the editing and writing skills needed for both traditional media outlets and digital platforms. Participants will also learn how to prepare reports and field-based visual stories.

Additionally, the course reviews methods for producing multimedia content, highlights key applications of artificial intelligence in journalism, and explores how these technologies can be leveraged to enhance professional performance and media content production efficiency.

This initiative is part of Qatar News Agency's efforts, through the QNA Training Center, to develop national media competencies and keep pace with rapid developments in the media sector, ultimately improving the quality of media content and production.
