Israeli Occupation Forces Arrest Eight Palestinians in West Bank

Jerusalem: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Sunday eight Palestinians in various areas across the West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF detained seven Palestinians in the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), and another young Palestinian in Al-Zawiya town, west of the Salfit Governorate, after conducting raids and searches in several homes.

In a related development, the IOF obstructed the movement of Palestinians east of Qalqilya by closing the entrance to the village of Al-Nabi Elyas with iron gates. Additionally, the Azzun Jayyous road was shut down, causing significant disruption to movement in the area.

Cities, towns, and refugee camps across the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds experience daily raids and incursions by the IOF. These operations are often accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas canisters, targeting Palestinian youths.
