Doha: In its recent editorial, Al-Raya emphasized the significance of Qatar National Day as a deeply rooted occasion that reinforces the values of loyalty, solidarity, and unity, while also strengthening pride in Qatari identity and history. The editorial highlighted this year’s slogan, “With You It Rises and From You It Awaits,” which was unveiled by the organizing committee. This slogan, derived from a speech by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, underscores the notion that people are the foundation and most valuable asset of the nation.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Raya reflected on His Highness’ words: “The human being is the most important building block of the nation, and its greatest investment. Qatar has invested in you; with you it rises and from you it awaits.” The newspaper stated that the slogan embodies a national vision that prioritizes human development as the driving force behind sustained progress and long-term prosperity.
Al-Raya concluded that the message reaffirms Qatar’s ongoing development journey, driven by the dedication of its citizens and guided by values of hard work, responsibility, and contribution toward building a prosperous present and a brighter future for the country.
On a similar note, Al-Arab emphasized that the slogan “With You It Rises and From You It Awaits” carries a timeless message for future generations, highlighting that investing in human capital is essential for national renaissance and the sustainability of Qatar’s progress. The paper noted that the slogan originates from HH the Amir’s remarks during a visit to Qatar University on October 19, 2016, where His Highness encouraged students to use their academic and professional capabilities to serve society and advance the nation.
Al-Arab concluded by affirming that Qatar’s National Day is an occasion to renew allegiance and loyalty to the country’s leadership, HH the Amir. The unity between leadership and people, along with major strategic achievements, has enabled Qatar to achieve rapid progress across economic and social fronts, making it a model of stability, prosperity, and sustainable development rooted in values passed down through generations.
