Qatar National Bank Announces Latest Deposit Rates

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Sunday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been released, detailing the rates across various currencies and durations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for the US Dollar (USD) start at 3.67140% for one month and adjust slightly to 3.67074% for two months. For three months, the rate is set at 3.67008%, while six and twelve months are 3.63690% and 3.53463%, respectively. In the Japanese Yen (JPY) category, the rates begin at 0.58000% for one month and rise to 1.00000% for twelve months.

For the Swiss Franc (CHF), the rates commence at -0.27000% for one month and level out at -0.01000% by the six and twelve-month marks. The British Pound (GBP) sees an initial rate of 3.68000% for one month, reaching up to 3.86000% for twelve months.

In the local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) starts at 4.07500% for one month, descending to 3.72500% for twelve months. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) and the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) maintain consistent rates across certain periods, with SAR at 4.50000% initially and BHD starting at 4.52000% for one month. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) begins at 2.05000% for one month and peaks at 3.15000% for twelve months.
