Cairo: The State of Qatar actively participated in the Smart Transport, Logistics and Infrastructure Fair and Forum for the MEA Region (TransMEA 2025), which commenced on Sunday at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo. Leading the Qatari delegation was HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani, underscoring Qatar’s commitment to advancing transportation systems.
According to Qatar News Agency, the event has drawn numerous ministers and dignitaries from different countries in the region, along with more than 500 exhibitors from 30 countries. This makes TransMEA 2025 a significant regional platform for exchanging expertise and showcasing innovations in industry and transportation.
The forum, held under the theme “Industry and Transport Together for Sustainable Development,” explores ways to develop transportation systems to meet future demands. It also promotes the shift towards eco-friendly and sustainable transportation, reviews prospects for developing related logistics services, and examines key challenges facing the transportation industry.
