Prime Minister of Qatar Engages in Discussions with Foreign Ministers of Italy, Canada, and Greece

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received phone calls from HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Antonio Tajani, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Anita Anand, and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic George Gerapetritis. The conversations focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing regional developments, particularly the Israeli attack on Iran.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions involved Qatar’s condemnation of Israeli actions in the region, which are seen as threats to peace and potential triggers for regional conflict. The Prime Minister highlighted the serious implications of Israel’s targeting of economic facilities in Iran, emphasizing the potential impact on regional and international stability, particularly concerning energy supplies.

The Prime Minister underscored the importance of regional and international collaboration to reduce tensions and urged the resolution of conflicts through diplomatic channels. He affirmed Qatar’s commitment to working with international partners to foster dialogue and secure peace and stability in the region and globally.
