Prime Minister and Saudi Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Stability

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call on Monday from HH Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud. The conversation focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing recent regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, both leaders emphasized the importance of diplomatic dialogue and coordination to reduce regional tensions. They discussed the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, highlighting the necessity of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to maintain security and stability.

HE the Prime Minister underscored Qatar's commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at lowering tensions and achieving a comprehensive peace agreement that fosters lasting stability in the region. The dialogue reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen ties and cooperation between Qatar and Saudi Arabia while promoting peace and security in the Middle East.
