Abu Dhabi: HH President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi highlighted the necessity of intensifying efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. They also underscored the importance of establishing a political framework for a just and comprehensive peace, grounded in the two-state solution.
According to Qatar News Agency, this emphasis was made during a meeting held during President El Sisi’s visit to the UAE. The leaders exchanged views on several issues of mutual concern, with a primary focus on the developments in the Middle East and strategies to restore security and stability in the region.
The discussions also touched upon bilateral relations and various areas of cooperation. Both leaders affirmed their commitment to ongoing consultation and coordination to address these pressing issues effectively.
