The Popular Mobilization Forces announced on Tuesday that its operations command was able to return the displaced people of 21 villages to their areas of residence in Al-Saadiya district in Diyala Governorate.
The media of the Popular Mobilization Forces Operations Command in Diyala stated in a statement, “Under the auspices of the Commander of the Diyala Operations Sector of the Popular Mobilization Forces and in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, and the Governor of Diyala, Muthanna Al-Tamimi, 21 displaced villages were returned to Al-Saadiya district of Diyala Governorate.”
It added, "The return of the displaced took people place after their security and service rehabilitation, and Al-Amiri supervised the return of the families in these villages and the return of life there to normal, as their return was secured."
Al-Amiri stressed, according to the statement, “the importance of overcoming all obstacles and difficulties that prevent the return of all displaced people to villages and regions.”
