Nablus: A Palestinian man was killed and another wounded on Sunday after Israeli forces opened fire during a raid on Al Ain refugee camp in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that one man was struck by multiple live rounds in the abdomen and limbs and died shortly after arriving at the hospital. Another man sustained shrapnel injuries to both legs.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its teams in Nablus treated two injuries, including a critical gunshot wound. The organization noted that the wounded man was initially detained by Israeli forces before being transferred to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Local reports indicate that a group of undercover Israeli operatives infiltrated the upper neighborhood of Al Ain camp near Al Sikka Street. Gunfire was heard in the area as the forces surrounded a house and clashed with residents. Additional occupation troops were later deployed to the scene.
