The Ministry of Interior announced today, Saturday, that the Nineveh police had arrested two suspects and seized narcotic hashish in their possession.
The ministry said in a statement, “The detachments of the Department of Management and Training of Police Dogs K9 within the Police Command of Nineveh Governorate, and during the search of suspected persons and vehicles in Domiz checkpoint, east of the city of Mosul, were able to arrest (two) suspects riding a vehicle coming from outside the governorate with the tools of abuse.
The statement added, legal measures were taken against them and they were handed over to the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs.
