Doha: Qatar Museums, in collaboration with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, will host a symposium titled “Excellence in Marble Art: Design, Construction, and Education” on Wednesday at the Museum of Islamic Art. The event marks the beginning of a series of joint initiatives between the two institutions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the symposium will be led by Hanif Kara, architect and professor at Harvard University, who will explore the connections among architecture, construction, and education. The discussion will also address ways to foster collaboration and innovation in shaping contemporary approaches to the built environment.
