Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) "30" index closed on Monday at 7,618.29 points, marking a decrease of 52.1 points, or 0.680 percent, compared to the last trading session, which closed at 7,670.43 points. The total trading value reached OMR 38,727,293, representing an increase of 10.5 percent from the previous trading session, which recorded OMR 38,042,670.
According to Qatar News Agency, the report issued by MSX indicated that the market capitalization decreased by 0.450 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately OMR 36.64 billion. This decrease in the index suggests a slight downturn in market performance. The increase in the total trading value, however, reflects a higher level of activity compared to the previous session.
