Kuwait Bourse Ends Trading Session with Marginal Decline

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index lost 3.13 points to reach 8,835.90 points, a decrease of 0.04 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 530.8 million shares valued at KWD 143.8 million (roughly USD 469.3 million) were traded through 33,580 transactions. The Main Market Index saw an increase of 94.23 points, reaching 8,805.33 points, up by 1.08 percent. This was achieved through 274.3 million shares exchanged across 16,556 transactions with a total value of KWD 40.8 million (roughly USD 133.1 million).

On the other hand, the Premier Market Index experienced a decline, losing 23.98 points to settle at 9,300.95 points, down by 0.26 percent. This movement involved 256.4 million shares traded over 17,024 transactions, amounting to a value of KWD 103 million (roughly USD 336.1 million).

Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index recorded a gain of 47.24 points, closing at 9,764.12 points, up by 0.49 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 205.2 million shares in 11,473 deals, with a value of KWD 30.6 million (roughly USD 99.8 million).
